Biography

Autumn Schacherl is a mezzo-soprano and voice teacher based out of Weehawken, NJ. In performance, Autumn was recently seen as Miriam in a concert reading of The Prince of Egypt. She also performed as Dorabella in Cosí fan tutte along with the roles of Desiree and Madame Armfeldt in A Little Night Music for Opera in the Ozarks' 2022 season. While at UW-Milwaukee, Autumn world premiered the roles of the Traveler in It’ll Never Work and Alice in Echo Ascension, and also played Annio in La clemenza di Tito with Milwaukee Opera Theatre. Other roles that Autumn has performed include Fiordiligi in Cosí fan tutte, Miss Baggot in The Little Sweep and Rosie in Cabaret. In addition to her opera and musical theatre work, she has been a featured soloist with the Master Singers of Milwaukee and was a core member of the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus for the 2023-24 season. Autumn earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
